Conceptualisation of River of Design (ROD) started way back since 1950’s, when a family during partition migrated from Pakistan to India. Tried hands on various businesses, finally started textile trading business. Today, the textile trading company has a reputed name in the Indian fashion domain.
Ms. Christina Bhatia, Director of the brand takes us through the journey. She states that it was all his Passion for Fashion which contrived into developing of River of Design.
Keeping in mind the industry standards ROD comes up with the hybrid brand of fashion and innovation.
Her passion took birth with the 140 years old history of romancing the denims. She quotes, “Our denims passes through various quality parameters be it washes & treatments, quality, design and fits”. We have been in the textile business since 1950’s and fashion is in our blood, we know the taste of the consumer. Keeping in mind the long working hours, and the fabric which is going to hug you for almost everyday for long hours, So, it’s a serious business for us and making female look beautiful is our responsibility. Rod has emerged with the long-standing tradition of the quality fabric. Our target consumer is fashion savvy female aged 18 to 35 who are fashion innovators seeking effortless styles. ROD is planned to be launched keeping in mind the innovations we can do and the quality we can offer to the end customers. ROD would be offering womens bottomwear in denims and non-denims. ROD's inhouse team of designers who are widely travelled and abreast with the latest fashion in trend, comes up with the new ideas and launches
ROD would be breaking all the rules in the fashion sector with the unique interpretations that a customer wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else.
